DESCRIPTION
WHEN AN ELECTRO-MECHANICAL (E/M) SCALE IS INSTALLED ONTO A CONVEYOR, WHICH HAS A VARIABLE INCLINATION ANGLE (SUCH AS ON A STACKER OR RECLAIMER), MEASUREMENT (WEIGHT) ERRORS WILL RESULT WITH A CHANGE IN THE INCLINATION ANGLE OF THE CONVEYOR.
In order to compensate for this effect our Boom Angle Compensation (BAC) is available as an option. The solid state Inclination Angle Sensor provides a measurement of the boom angle and passes it to UNIPRO® for inclusion in its weight calculations, thereby compensating for the variations in boom angle.
